I started working for Centerville Specialty Care almost 14 years ago as a dietary aide while I was in high school. After high school, I attended nursing school. As I worked my way through the nursing program, I was promoted to LPN, and then to RN. Most recently, I was promoted to Nurse Manager. Centerville Specialty Care offers room for advancement & is a great place to work.
As a consultant dietitian, it has been a pleasure working with the staff at La Porte City Specialty Care each week. The interdisciplinary team strives to provide the best care for their residents. During this pandemic I have been very impressed with how they have handled all of the changes while working together.
Everyone - from dietary staff and housekeepers to administration works together as a team to provide resident-centered care. We get to know the residents like family in a way that is unique to this setting.
