The staff and the relationship with the residents is second to none. The community involvement is absolutely the best I’ve ever seen!!!

The nursing team is amazing and so VERY compassionate to residents and their families. The administration staff is helpful, kind and truly genuine in their desire to help families and their loved ones. I never considered any of the staff as my co-workers...they are my friends and I loved working with them all.

We thank all of you who work together to provide such a great place for our dad. We observe your kind, respectful and patient interactions with your resident and their families. Thank you for doing it so well! 

Thank you to the group home staff and aids for the help given us. It's been a great honor to be under your excellent care here in the group home by your staff and aids for this I thank you.

A note...to thank all of you for the wonderful work you do in caring for your residents. Kudos to all for your COVID-free status! Keep on keeping on during this challenging time. Our thoughts and our prayers are with all of you.

We can't begin to express how grateful and appreciative we are for all you do. Your kindness, compassion, hard work and humor make such a difference in the lives of your residents. Thank you for taking care of Dad on his good days and his bad days. I know he considers this place home and is very comfortable. I tell everyone I know who luck I am that we have such a great nursing [facility] here in La Porte City.

We would like to acknowledge and thank the associates of LaPorte City Specialty Care.  Our mother was lovingly cared for while a resident there.  LaPorte City Specialty Care  concern for their residents was evident by quality care, a personable-friendly greeting and warm touch.  Due to State of IA directives (to keep residents safe) we were kept at a distance while visiting mom.  It was hard for us not to give mom a hug but we took great comfort knowing she was receiving those loving and warm touches from staff.

We will be forever grateful for the care provided to mom.  To the associates from housekeeping, dietary, maintenance, nursing aides, nurses, social workers and administration we thank you all. Your kind words and care do not go unnoticed.  Blessings to you all.  

Thank you all so much for all you did for Mom. For all the friendship, compassion and laughs you shared with her. You all took such good care of her and Dad and well appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. One of the last things she asked me to do for her was to "be sure to get those peanut clusters made for my gals (and guys) at the home." Thanks again for all you did for her and continue to do for our dad!
