Two Southern Hills Specialty Care caregivers receive scholarships

Administrator Destiny Boeve (right) and Physical Therapist Sucheta Rohilla (below) have been recognized as two winners out of 20 total scholarships from the Iowa Health Care Association (IHCA) Foundation.

As a scholarship winner, each will receive $1,500 to continue their health care education at an accredited school of nursing, long-term care or health administration program, or physical/occupational therapy program.

Crestview Specialty Care receives highest rating

(June, 2019) Nursing homes are highly regulated and must adhere to hundreds of standards and regulations. There is one nursing home locally that continues to provide a high level of care and service and meet every regulation. In the most recent state inspection and survey (June, 2019) administered by the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals, Crestview Specialty Care received zero deficiencies.  There are 412 nursing facilities in Iowa. Generally, only 5 percent are found to be deficiency-free.
