Natalie Trinkle Chosen for Care Initiatives’ ‘Be Kind and Honest’ award

Centerville Specialty Care Director of Nursing Natalie Trinkle received the Care Initiatives “Be Kind and Honest” award at Care Initiatives’ annual award brunch Friday, Dec. 16 in West Des Moines.

Trinkle is well-known among the residents and it is noted that they often count on Trinkle for various reasons and prefer to speak with her to answer a question or express concern. “Her ability to be kind and honest is what led them to feeling this way,” said Administrator Michelle Kerschner. “She always gets to the resident’s level so they know they are being treated with dignity.”

Care providers from clinics around town often request to work directly with Natalie as she has earned a level of respect among her peers. “And her team respects her because she respects them,” Kerschner added.

The “Be Kind and Honest” award is one of six “Core Value” awards given to a nominated employee throughout the statewide organization of 3,000+ employees.
