West Ridge Specialty Care welcomes new administrator

The staff and residents of West Ridge Specialty Care in Knoxville welcome Michelle Kerschner as Administrator. She transfers from Centerville Specialty Care where she served as administrator since 2014.

While attending the University of Iowa and completing her long-term care administration coursework at Des Moines Area Community College, Kerschner worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA).

“I loved working as direct caregiver but I wanted to do more,” Kerschner said. “It was that experience that inspired me to direct my career toward making a difference as an administrator in long-term care.”
