    Bridgett Kent, CNA/Restorative Aide at Corydon Specialty Care received the 2019 “Serve Others Award” at Care Initiatives’ annual awards brunch Friday, Dec. 6 in West Des Moines.

  • Kristen Lyons earns Care Initiatives Always Learn Award

    Kristen Lyons, Assistant Director of Nursing with Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo was awarded the Care Initiatives 2019 “Always Learn Award” at Care Initiatives annual awards brunch Friday, Dec. 6 in West Des Moines.

    Lyons’ early career history was working as a labor and delivery nurse at Covenant Hospital.   • Susie Moore chosen for Care Initiatives’ Be Consistent Award

    Susie Moore, a CNA at Lamoni Specialty Care received the Be Consistent Award at Care Initiatives’ annual awards brunch Friday, Dec. 6 in West Des Moines.

    “Susie and her team are on second shift most nights and its always the most stable shift and the work always gets done right,” said Administrator Billy Meyers. “She never seems to have a bad day.”

    (December, 2019) Darci Dooley, RN, CHPN has been promoted to Team Director of the Care Initiatives Hospice – Des Moines office. In her role as Team Director, Dooley will oversee an expert team of registered nurses, hospice aides, spiritual care and bereavement counselors, social workers and devoted local volunteers.
