  • Sioux City Hospice benefits from bear donation

    Four years ago, Mike “Bear” Ruehle lost his 12-year battle with cancer.  In his memory, each year there is a Mike “Bear” Ruehle stuffed bear donation drive. Teddy bears that are collected are then given to children and adults in the Sioux City, Omaha and surrounding area.     Dubuque Specialty Care has been ranked as a 5-star skilled nursing facility by the federal government’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for 2017.
