Jessica McDyer, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Care Initiatives has been chosen by the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) as a member of the 2025-2026 Future Leaders program.
McDyer will join 39 other leaders for AHCA/NCAL’s 20th Future Leaders program, a year-long program that offers training and guidance for industry professionals. Selected participants demonstrate both leadership potential and represent the interests of the long-term care and post-acute care profession.
“Jessica is a proven leader, not only within our organization but in long-term care across our region,” said Michael Beal, CEO for Care Initiatives. “We are beyond proud she’s been chosen and that she continues to be committed to her own learning and personal growth – which is one of our core values.”
As Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Care Initiatives, McDyer oversees operations while driving efficiencies to support sustainable business growth. Through the Iowa Health Care Association (IHCA), Jessica has served on several committees and on the Board of Directors. She currently serves on the IHCA Foundation Board and the IHCA Board as multi-facility chair.
AHCA/NCAL developed the Future Leaders program in 2004. The program covers the latest theories and practical applications in quality management, customer satisfaction, and leadership. The year-long program kicks off with the “Future Leaders of Long-Term Care in America” Symposium held every September in Washington, D.C.
