WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Jan. 26, 2026) — Kingsley Specialty Care welcomed members of the community for tours and refreshments on Thursday, Jan. 15. The celebration marked 60 years of quality skilled nursing care within the Kingsley community.
During the public celebration, tenured members of the team were recognized for their commitment to resident care. Guests, residents and team members reminisced, sharing memories from the past 60 years.
Originally opened in 1966, Kingsley Specialty Care is licensed to provide skilled nursing care to up to 43 residents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, serving individuals across Plymouth County and many surrounding communities. The skilled health care team provides daily activities, healthy nutritious meals, rehabilitation therapy services and much more.
