Odebolt Specialty Care welcomed members of the community for tours and refreshments on Monday, Nov. 3. The celebration marked 60 years of quality skilled nursing care within the Odebolt community.
Originally opened in 1965, Odebolt Specialty Care is licensed to provide skilled nursing care to up to 38 residents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, serving individuals across Sac County and many surrounding communities. The skilled health care team provides daily activities, healthy nutritious meals, rehabilitation therapy services and much more. In addition, Odebolt Independent Living provides a safe and engaging environment for those who may need assistance with the activities of daily living.
During the public celebration, tenured members of the team were recognized for their commitment to resident care. Guests, residents and team members reminisced, sharing memories from the past 60 years.
“For six decades, our team has been honored to provide quality care to the wonderful residents of Odebolt and the surrounding area — supporting generations of families and creating lasting connections that feel more like family than work,” said Madison Leisinger, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for Odebolt Specialty Care. “This community’s trust and support has made these 60 years possible, and we look forward to many more years of care, comfort, and community together.”
