Last fall I was in a bad car wreck that resulted in an external fixator on my leg and left me in a wheelchair. Ridgewood took me in and I’m very happy with the help and the treatment I have received. Everyone from the nursing department to housekeeping treated me very well. They got me strong enough to return home and I continued seeing them for outpatient therapy, now I am back to walking independently, only using a cane occasionally because I live in the boonies. I have no complaints at all about my stay at Ridgewood. Thank you.

Ridgewood is a wonderful facility. I was a CNA there for 2 1/2 years. The administrator and DON are (the) best I (have) ever worked for. All the staff and employees there are great. Friendly, caring, hardworking. If you're a CNA or anyone looking for work in long term care facility, I highly recomend Ridgewood.

I wanted to make each one of you aware of how please we are with your kindness and care. We enjoyed the meeting to review past care and future hope and expectations. It is clear you all (understand) people's different needs and behaviors and make life more pleasant. Keep doing what you do so well.

I know from my time spent in your facility that there were so many of you who touched my uncle's life. I can't tell you how proud I was to see such a wonderful caring and outgoing team of employees working together day after day. We would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff at Ridgewood Specialty Care in Ottumwa, IA. My dad was recently there for 20+ days for physical therapy.
