Care Initiatives launches Leadership Academy for company leaders.

To further develop the organization’s leaders, Care Initiatives has launched its Leadership Academy.  The Leadership Academy is a 12-month program designed to equip leaders with the tools, resources and knowledge needed to thrive in the ever-evolving healthcare industry.  The program will consist of in-person and virtual sessions with strategically aligned projects.  Participants will also receive professional coaching to help them reach their professional goals.


On January 8, 2022 Care Initiatives announced its membership with the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI).  The healthcare organization will become part of the network of more than 1,500 members who are a unified voice for Iowa businesses. 

New London earns 5 star rating

New London Nursing and Rehab Center has received a five-star rating from US News and World Report ranking the care and rehab center as one of the top care facilities in the state. The ranking is based on information obtained by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and based on overall performances in health inspections, nurse staffing ratio and quality of care.

New London Nursing and Rehab Center was one of 24 percent of the nursing facilities in Iowa to receive a five-star rating.

Belle Plaine Specialty Care Named “Best Nursing Home”

(Belle Plaine, IA – December 12, 2016)  Belle Plaine Specialty Care was named a “Best Nursing Home” by the U.S. News & World Report 2016-17 Nursing Home Finder report released last month. Nursing homes are eligible to receive this distinction if they score between a 4.5 and 5.0 on a 5.0 scale. According to the report, Belle Plaine Specialty Care received a perfect 5.0 rating and is recognized as a “Top Rated Nursing Home.”  The report uses existing federal nursing home rating information and federally reported health care data to come up with their own rating system.
