Tallman wins national leadership award
La Porte City Specialty Care Administrator Pamela Tallman has won the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) 2018 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award. This is the second time she has received the designation. The leadership award was celebrated at ACHCA’s 52nd Annual Convocation and Exposition in
Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, April 24.Fewer than 11% of facilities nationwide qualify. This year, 1,717 facilities met the selection criteria. Three hundred and fifty‐one administrators in 45 states were awarded the facility leadership award nationally.

Atlantic Specialty Care has introduced a new more efficient training program to certify nurse assistants (CNAs). Located in Atlantic, Iowa, this skilled nursing facility provides outpatient, short-term and long-term care for patients. In the past 5 years they have received the American Health Care Association’s (AHCA) “Bronze” and “Silver” Commitment to Quality awards, the 2013 and 2017 AHCA Quality Initiatives Award, and the 2016 Iowa Governor’s Quality award.

Atlantic Specialty Care has been selected for the American Health Care Association (AHCA) Quality Initiatives Recognition Program.
