Ravenwood celebrates the season of giving and receiving

In the early part of December, Ravenwood Specialty Care was able to update more than half of their residents’ beds to the latest technology. As a result, their good fortune is also benefiting the elderly and frail thousands of miles away.

Kristen Lyons earns Care Initiatives Always Learn Award

Kristen Lyons, Assistant Director of Nursing with Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo was awarded the Care Initiatives 2019 “Always Learn Award” at Care Initiatives annual awards brunch Friday, Dec. 6 in West Des Moines.

Ravenwood Specialty Care receives Bronze National Quality Award

Ravenwood Specialty Care has been recognized as a 2018 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award for its dedication to improving the lives of residents through quality care. The award is the first of three distinctions possible through the National Quality Award Program, presented by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).

Pinnacle Specialty Care rated 5 stars

Pinnacle Specialty Care in Cedar Falls received a 5-star ranking throughout 2017 in “Quality Measures” for a skilled nursing facility from  the federal government’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Administrator Kristi Kremer says the caring environment the staff provide every day is the reason for their success.  “Everyone on our staff works diligently to ensure the best care and environment for our residents and their families. It’s our caring staff who make the difference.”
