In her role as Team Director, Stone will oversee an expert team of registered nurses, hospice aides, spiritual care and bereavement counselors, social workers and devoted local volunteers. The Cedar Rapids office serves patients and families in Linn, Johnson, Benton, Iowa, Jones, Jackson, Cedar and Muscatine counties.
Manly Specialty Care receives state’s highest ranking
(December, 2019) Staff at Manly Specialty Care are celebrating a perfect survey administered by the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals. They received zero deficiencies. There are 439 nursing facilities in Iowa. This is the second consecutive year.
Generally, only 5 percent are found to be deficiency-free.
Michele Lawson earns Care Initiatives’ Employee of the Year
Michele Lawson, Director of Nursing at Manly Specialty Care, has received the Employee of the Year Award at Care Initiatives’ annual award brunch Friday, Dec. 6 in West Des Moines.
